Whoops
Hey gang,

Sorry about the false warning. If any of you thought I updated "new" work. I apologize. When I said I updated my portfolio, It turned out I forgot to include the sculpt updates of Frank's Hair, and Cap.

So there they are.

Feeling pretty lame, haha

Updates posted

Well I posted the images as of 6:30pm San Francisco time. Both Nos and Frank's Modelsheets have also been added. I was thinking of adding images to show the before and after (these also used to be on my blogspot website) Though From what I've heard from people who browse cgportfolios on cgsociety. No one really does more than "browse".

So If anyone would like to see them I'll post the comparisons.

However they include:
Seams added to franks clothes and Hat and hair being tightened up. Clothing wrinkles were also enhanced by further subdividing and sculpting (my laptop was running seriously hot!!!)
*note to self, buy a real computer soon*

Nos' updates were more subtle. They include tightening of the hair and unlike Frank, Nos' hair is edgelooped into his head mesh so that meant having to tighten his facial wrinkles as well.

Then just some pant and greatcoat tightening. I think i had to subdivide there as well.

Reminder "weekend update"

Just a reminder I will be uploading "Updated" versions of my sculpts this weekend. I believe it's only "Frank" and "Nos" that are updated.

looks closely they will be more refined versions. I might add a before and after just for clarification's sake

Sweet geeeeezus,

I graduated in Dec 2007 and as of this week I finally got a "proper" CG gig. Well as those of you who know I can't really say much about the work I'm doing (N.D.A's and all) but It's a contract position at a local bay area Cg company. I hope to learn alot.

On a similar note prior to the above info:

I was working on a Art Test for a company (I'll list the studios name when I post the w.i.p.)

hmmm..... oh right, I'm going to update my gallery. I said in a previous blog I wasn't going to do this but Now that I look at this gallery the sculpts aren't as refined as the ones on my website/blog/portfolio. and frankly it's a little embarrassing having to tell people to not look at the cg society gallery every time I hand them my business card. haha

Seeing as how I'm busy trying to learn the in's-and-out's of the "industry" It's also come to my attention that I won't have much time to work on personal work so I felt updating was appropriate.
